Method 1: Using the Print Screen Key

1. Locate the Print Screen key on your keyboard. It’s usually labeled as PrtScn, PrntScrn, Print Scr, or something similar.

2. Press the Print Screen key to capture the entire screen. If you want to capture only the active window, press Alt + Print Screen.

3. Open an image editing tool like Paint, Photoshop, or even Word.

4. Paste the screenshot by pressing Ctrl + V.

5. Save the image by going to File > Save As, choose your desired location, and click Save.

Method 2: Using the Snipping Tool

1. Open the Snipping Tool. You can find it by typing “Snipping Tool” into the search bar in the Start menu.

2. Click on New. Your screen will fade, and you can click and drag your cursor to select an area to capture.

3. Release the mouse. The snip will open in the Snipping Tool window.

4. Save the snip by clicking on File > Save As, choose your desired location, and click Save.

Method 3: Using the Snip & Sketch Tool

1. Open the Snip & Sketch tool. You can find it by typing “Snip & Sketch” into the search bar in the Start menu.

2. Click on New. A small toolbar will open at the top of your screen, and you can choose to capture a rectangular snip, a freeform snip, a window snip, or a full-screen snip.

3. Select the area, window, or screen that you want to capture, depending on your previous choice.

4. Save the screenshot by clicking on the disk icon, choose your desired location, and click Save.
